why you should check them out:
There are those bands out there that get immediate hype without even releasing an album, and then there are bands like San Francisco’s The Dont’s, that play show after show continuously refining their sound through each album. Recording constantly since forming in 2004, The Dont’s have cultivated their ever maturing brand of indie rock, culminating in their most recent and dynamic album to date, Those Delicate Chemicals.

background check:
In 2005, the four members of San Francisco’s The Dont’s debuted with Misc Radio Leakage, an ambitious full-length that introduced listeners to their eclectic indie style. Following suit with 2007′s followup, Inner El Camino, The Dont’s continued to hone their sound with constant shows around town, garnering them the reputation as one of San Francisco’s hardest working bands. Sharing the stage with like minded acts such as Ted Leo and the French Kicks, and earning the title as CMJ’s “Artist Of The Week,” The Dont’s soon earned national attention with sets at CMJ and Noise Pop.

Two years later The Dont’s are back out of the studio with their third full-length, Those Delicate Chemicals, showcasing the quartet at their tightest yet. Saturated in dissonant guitar overlays, punctuated rhythms, and vocals with a distinctive and sassy punk rock quality, The Dont’s award listeners with thirteen tracks of dance worthy indie rock sure to brighten your day.
